Situated directly on a powder soft, pink sand beach with views that encompass the turquoise, sapphire blue waters of the Atlantic and two cays (small islands) nearby, is Kataluma: a lovely, five bedroom, 5.5 bath oceanfront villa in Double Bay, Eleuthera, Bahamas.
This new (2009), approx. 5000 sq ft, two-level, secluded residential home is a comfortable, family style home/retreat, with full central air conditioning, a solar-heated swimming pool, convenient open floor plan on the main level, with large dining and living areas, with home theater.
The lower level has another living room, a 2nd full kitchen/dining area and entertainment/recreation/billiard room and large screen satellite TV. This home will accommodate up to 12 people comfortably.
There are patios and decks around the house, giving a variety of settings and views to enjoy throughout the days and evenings, for your choice of relaxation.

Kataluma is an amazing home. The owners were terrific to deal with. They always answered any questions I had promptly. My girls loved the heated pool. They also enjoyed watching a movie on the big screen in the great room every night!

My family and I traveled to Kataluma to "get away" for a week. Kataluma was perfect for that. Kataluma is a beautiful, peaceful home with great ammenities (swimming pool, theater room for watching movies, game room with pool table, grill for cooking out, kayaks, etc). The owners really know how to take care of you. The view of the ocean and beach from the living room and two of the bedrooms is indescribable!

Manasseh cooked for us a lot this week. He is highly recomeneded, especially if you have lots of kids that keep you at the beach all day. His food was out of this world, fairly priced and always on time.
